So, while sorting through my vast collection of postcards one day, I started noticing that there were quite a few cards that had correspondence on the message side, notes written about the front, or other tidbits of information written on them….but they had never been mailed out to anyone. WHAT A SHAME!!
It’s like it was a “lost” postcard that never got to fulfill its destiny.
I decided that I needed to do something about these lost cards! I decided to send them out into the world.
I do not want to mess with the original card so the only thing I have added to the card is my moniker #TheLostPostcardBandit (see image above)
Then I choose a recipient to send them to. Most of the people I send these cards to our my postcard friends on Instagram. They have truly enjoyed this series of cards and have found their own ways to expand the love of these postcards.
If you are interested in receiving one of these cards every now and then…just let me know. I would be happy to include you on the journey of these cards!
Have a HAPPY day!!
Ha! I just sent this exact Fountain of Youth vintage card out to someone on Postcrossing a few weeks ago!
