Teller of Tales

I am in LOVE with the song “Unwell” by the group Matchbox Twenty.

I have been since the first day I heard it and I still am to this day.

There is just something about it that resonates within me…something that reaches deep down within my soul and says, “Hey….I think they are singing about you!”

And if anyone were to ever ask me to say, “What song best describes who you are” – I think I would always answer “Unwell” without a seconds hesitation.

For example…I came across the above picture the other day…and while many may find it quite disturbing….I find it completely fascinating. Am I Unwell??  I don’t think so!  But when I look at this picture…I don’t see a burning car with a bunch of kids in masks holding hands in front of it.  I see something deeper.  I look at the picture and instantly I am writing the story that led to this picture being taken. I am writing the beginning.  I am writing the middle.  And trust me….this story has one creepy ass ending!

So…does that make me Crazy?  Does it make me Unwell?

OR…does it simply make me….a Writer?
