So, the love of Postcards has been in my family for many many generations now.  But the true love of collecting them came from my Mom.  She was so passionate about it, so organized, has so many of them; it is quite amazing.

Recently, my brother and I started going through her collection with her, looking at a lot of them, selling some for her, taking some we want for personal reasons, etc. It has been so much fun and we have really been enjoying it.

Shortly after we started doing this, my brother told me about an online Postcard club where people from all over the world send postcards to each other.  I thought this was a hobby and gesture that had long sensed gone to the wayside, but I am absolutely amazed at how many people still enjoy getting these in the mail.  This simple correspondence showcasing an image of something that is of interest to them or yourself, or even a little note of friendship or encouragement, showing up in your mailbox can really brighten your day.

I highly recommend this to EVERYONE!  I can’t afford to send many out right now, but I have sent quite a few and received quite a few back.  And right now, I can honestly say that they really do MAKE MY DAY when I get one in the mail.

Here are a few that I have recently received that I just adore!
