Teller of Tales

Serial Killer or Brilliant Author?!?

Comp1-1-2

I recently started organizing my “workspace” at home so that I could have an effective writing space to work on my novel.

Shortly after I began, I started to realize that I have numerous composition notebooks filled with my chicken scratch, ideas, poem titles, and other random thoughts.

Then I started thinking about the TV show Criminal Minds, and other crime TV shows and movies, where they go to the home of the crazed serial killer and come across notebook after notebook of the ramblings of the psycho that they are hunting.

Then I looked back at my pile of notebooks.

Then the brilliant intellect that is part of the investigation unit starts flipping through them because “they could help them better understand” why the serial killer is doing what he is doing.

Then I looked back at my pile of notebooks.

So now I have come to that metaphorical fork in the road of my life where I have to evaluate the information in my notebooks and decide if I am a brilliant author just waiting to bust out of my shell….or if I am a crazed serial killer that will have very interesting notebooks for the authorities to comb through and be fascinated by.

Either way…I think my writing will be a success.
